Why I’m running
resources for students
No matter who we are or where we come from, we want the best education possible for our children. But recently, our school dollars haven’t been going to where they are most needed to help all the children in our rapidly growing and diversifying community. We need to fight for the resources to which our students are entitled, whether it be additional net school spending to support students’ mental health or utilizing the Pope John School to relieve our overcrowded classrooms.
post-covid support
We can work together as a community and school committee to make a better future for all our students who are feeling the pressure of our changing community. During Covid lockdowns, this community banded together to bring meals to our most vulnerable populations, and the schools provided the students iPads to stay connected and continue their education. I believe we can continue our work to support our children’s education and emotional well-being in a post-Covid world.
as a parent myself
When you vote for me for school committee, you will be getting a person who is working in the interests of all the students and parents of Everett to insure our classrooms aren’t overcrowded, all our students, regardless of ability or socioeconomic status, get the support they need to be healthy, learning kids, and our education contract negotiations go smoothly so our children’s learning isn’t interrupted.
